Bob from Jersey
The Excited Parent, & Fan
Bob from Jersey, a Kenilworth, NJ, native, is a grown man who loves sports. Bob is the proud parent of show co-host, Rob, and has extensive knowledge in sports, mainly arbitrary information. Lifelong Yankees, Giants and Notre Dame fan, Bob hates Fantasy Sports, but loves weekly pick 'em, and watching the game in his "chair," with the people he loves. Bob's favorite time of year is when "all the leaves are brown, and the sky is gray." This, as the Mamas & Papas so eloquently put, is football season. Bob is happily married, and has three children. He currently resides in Scotch Plains, where he runs a successful non-profit hospice organization.

Your Hosts
Our show, established in September of 2008, is a "pioneer" in itself (no PUN intended).. From Sports talk, to friendly shout-outs, the Rob & Spyder show is becoming a staple in Sacred Heart's WHRT lineup. Every Monday from 7 - 9 pm, you can get knowledge, laughter, statistics and fun - with music! What could be better?
Rob Coloney, a freshman from Scotch Plains, NJ, aspires to be a sports broadcaster. He is 19, and a Media Studies major. He is a Yankees fan, Giants fan, Indiana Pacers fan, and Rangers fan.
Rob Coloney was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on September 18, 1989. He was raised on a wheat farm. He was home-schooled until age 9, at which time his parents sent him away to live with his aunt and uncle in Reading, PA. He attended Stony Creek elementary school for 3 months before being expelled for having an affair with one of more of the female faculty members. His aunt and uncle were so distraught that they kicked him out of the house. Rob wandered the streets as a vagabond until he found his way to Scotch Plains, NJ. It was there Rob was discovered shining shoes for a nickel by a man named Bob. Bob took Rob in and raised him right. Bob and his wife, Diane, sent him to St. Peter's Prep, where Rob began to take an interest in sports broadcasting. He scored a 2400 on his SAT, and followed that with perfect scores on his LSATs and EMCATs at age 17. He got into Harvard, Yale, and Sacred Heart and decided to attend Sacred Heart because of their esteemed radio program. One can find Rob sauntering about campus, or meditating outside one of the residence halls.
Mike 'Spyder' Leboff brings more to the table than his self-dubbed nickname. 18, and from Rockville Centre, NY, Mike is also a Media Studies major, with a flare for the dramatics. Mike is a Yankees fan, Giants fan, & Islanders fan.
Mike Leboff was born in Peace River, Alberta, on April 27, 1990. His parents decided to move down to America when Michael was 3. They ran a small general store/delicatessen in Thief River Falls, Minnesota for ten years. They had to move again when Michael's oldest brother was wanted for holding up a rival general store. They fled to the east coast and met up with a family friend from Manhattan. They lodged with this friend until they found a house in the town of Rockville Centre, NY. They settled in RVC and normalcy was restored, until the owner of the rival general store abducted Michael in the middle of the night. He was held for ransom in Norman, Oklahoma, in a warehouse. He escaped in the middle of a spring night and found a stray dog to keep him company for the long trek back. Michael, and this dog, whom he dubbed Killian, took a train from Tulsa to Mobile, Alabama. From there, they Greyhounded it to Fairfield, Connecticut. They found themselves at Sacred Heart University, and Michael liked what he saw at the school, and thus, made it his dream to attend the University. The rest, as they say, is history.
Together, the two make up the Rob & Spyder Show.
